World Premier of “TIME ZERO” in Birthplace of Polaroid Plus Custom Pop Up Premier Party

The world premier of “Time Zero,” a documentary about the last year of Polaroid film, is this Saturday, April 28th at the 10th Annual Independent Film Festival in Boston. Wheeler del Torro has crafted a special pop up as the official premier party in Boston following the screening for the director, cast, crew, and invited guests.

Chef del Torro drew from the iconic place Polaroid holds in American culture as inspiration for the menu. He will be departing from Barrio’s recent Afro-Cuban theme to compose a special menu for the premier offering his interpretations of classic American cuisine.

Director Grant Hamilton’s quest to preserve Polaroid film resonated with del Torro, who is on his own mission to rejuvenate the dinner party for a modern audience. For del Torro, “Dinner parties are the original means of offline social networking that brought people together – must like the fading tradition of sharing photos that you can hold in your hand.”
